The 3rd leg of the Speedo National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) Series will be held in Cebu at the plush resort of Plantation Bay, Mactan island on April 25, 2010. It will be the first time for Plantation Bay to host NAGT, considered to be the biggest local triathlon race in the region. The sprint distance triathlon will consist of a 1k swim, 30k bike and a 7.5k run. Expected to defend Cebu 's turf from guest triathletes are Noy Jopson, Elmo Clarabal, Gerrie Calinawan, Ralph Arche and Lorhiz Echavez. The 1st leg of the NAGT was hosted by Subic Bay last Jan.17 and the 2nd leg will be held in Davao City on March 14. This race is organized by Danao City Sports Commission, Councilor Boying Rodriguez and TRAP (Triathlon Association of the Philippines). Registration form is downloadable from www.triathlon.org.ph.
