Dalaguete, Cebu - This quiet municipality in the south, famous for being the vegetable basket of Cebu as well as for Osmeña Peak for climbers will be Sugbutriathlon's new race venue for the 2nd Leg of the Island's Souvenir's sponsored Cebu Loves Tri Team Championship Series. On Febraury 2 & 3, 2013, expect a throng of triathletes from all over Visayas and Mindanao to troop down south for Three exciting Tri races in two action packed days. To be kicked off by the Kid's tri,expect our youngsters to duke it out against other kids as we try to discover potential for the future. Leading the cast for the Kid's Tri would be Ironman Noy Jopson's daughter Mikele, who won her age group during the 1st Leg.
To be included in this leg would be the Sprint Distance Triathlon, introduced and added to give newbies a chance to join the sport in a short, but nevertheless lung busting Sprint race.
Highlight of the two day event would be the Olympic Distance Triathlon race on February 3, 2013, where the strongest field to date are going to compete. Watch our for CDO's Banjo Norte, Gerrie Calinawan Alberto Biagan Franz Baguio Mendel Surveying Ralph Martin Sios-e Ralph Arche to duke it out for the Elite men's overall.
Sugbutriathlon through Coach Benjoe and Anton Regis are committed to make this leg a bigger, better and well marshaled race. As of the moment, entries have reached to as high as 163 registrants.
